Logan Bell – Liberty Walk

April 6, 2010

Candidate for 24th Congressional District of NY, Logan Bell, is taking his campaign to the streets. In a real grass-roots effort Logan is walking from Binghamton to Utica spreading his message of liberty. He has been well received along his walk and reports today that he is heading north out of Norwich on route 12.

When he reaches Utica (approximately Thursday noontime) he will deliver a copy of the U.S. Constitution to the office of Rep. Mike Arcuri. Logan believes that the Declaration of Independence and Constitution are the guiding principles for our country and that Arcuri may need to reread the documents.

Self Defence

March 6, 2010

Sadly, there are people who will argue that you have no right to defend your life and property. They claim to be peaceful people but in New York if you were to walk around with a tool capable of helping you protect yourself they would immediately call a man with a gun to come and threaten your life. See, the do-gooders don’t directly assault your right to self-defence they use government to do the job so that they can pretend to be peaceable. When you take the tools of self defence away from the law abiding citizens, you make possible the attacks of criminals.

What New York needs is Warren Redlich as governor. Without waffling, Warren, answers the Gun Rights Questionnaire. You can get his answers here. I’d like to see a governor of New York who actually follows Law, I don’t need a ‘leader’.

Government Schools Are Bad for Your Kids

January 4, 2010

Government Schools Are Bad for Your Kids is James Ostrowski’s latest book. I’m looking forward to reading it soon. I was going to call this post, ‘The Hardest Working Liberty Activist in New York’ but I had to stop and think about that and happily it’s not that easy to pick the top supporter of Liberty in this state. I’m more than a little surprised that in a state where the collectivist are constantly doing anything they can to control every aspect of our lives, we have more than a few people working tirelessly to promote Liberty from a Constitutional perspective. So I’ll just put James Ostrowski in my top three and enjoy a day of considering the others to put on the list.

Western New York Tea Party April 18th

April 10, 2009

From James Ostrowski:

This event is co-sponsored by Free New York, Inc., BuffaloLiberty.com and PoliticalClassDismissed.com. The coordinator for the event is Jill Sinclair.

The tentative schedule is online here:

http://buffaloliberty.com/#tea1

This is a part of a national tea party movement against big government that is gaining momentum each week. We had nine people at our first event, thrown together on short notice. Then, on March 18th, over 500 people attended a tea party organized by Rus Thompson, Ellie Corcoran and Allen Coniglio.

We must keep building the crowds and the enthusiasm on April 18th and build up to a huge rally on July 4th weekend. We will discuss that event on the 18th.
