Capitalism Is Dead

March 17, 2010

I hate to break the news but it must be said ‘capitalism is dead’. NY State Assemblywoman, Barbara Lifton, tells us “The recession proved capitalism failed’.

Ithaca Times announcement.

Capitalism Has Failed

I just don’t understand why we didn’t abandon capitalism when it failed us in 1929. We should have tried something a little more socially secure.

Of course, the real problem is ‘legal tender’. It has such a nice name, it’s legal and it’s tender; it’s hard to believe that something with a name like that can be so immoral. The only reason it is ‘legal’ is that nine men in black dresses can benefit from the scheme. And ‘tender’ it is not! It is simply theft. By forcing people to use the money of the Federal Reserve, the bankers are in position to manipulate the economy at their will. We are at the whim of the bankers and the politicians are their puppets.

Capitalism hasn’t failed it’s just gone into hiding, it will return when we’ve had enough of the banker’s manipulations.

Trillions

March 11, 2010

Our government has gotten us accustom to budgets and spending in trillions. I’ve seen graphics that try to show dollar bills (FRaud Notes) stacked like sky scrapers, impressive but lacking. I ran across a piece of information about javascript code which counts time in milliseconds based from 1970. Seconds of time are nice little units we’re pretty familiar with, one Mississippi, two Mississippi …. So, I was born back in 1958; how many trillion seconds have passed since I was born?

60 seconds = minute

3600 seconds = hour

86,400 seconds = day

31,557,600 seconds = year: That’s 31.5576 million seconds in a year.

1,640,995,200 seconds = 52 years: Well heck, I’m a mere 1.6 billion seconds old.

3,155,760,000 seconds = century

31,557,600,000 seconds = millennium

63,430,776,000 seconds = 2010 AD give or take a little

1,000,000,000,000 seconds = 31,688 years

I guess it’s a good thing we have bookkeeping to create ‘dollars’. I wonder how many forests it would take to keep that many bills in circulation?

Self Defence

March 6, 2010

Sadly, there are people who will argue that you have no right to defend your life and property. They claim to be peaceful people but in New York if you were to walk around with a tool capable of helping you protect yourself they would immediately call a man with a gun to come and threaten your life. See, the do-gooders don’t directly assault your right to self-defence they use government to do the job so that they can pretend to be peaceable. When you take the tools of self defence away from the law abiding citizens, you make possible the attacks of criminals.

What New York needs is Warren Redlich as governor. Without waffling, Warren, answers the Gun Rights Questionnaire. You can get his answers here. I’d like to see a governor of New York who actually follows Law, I don’t need a ‘leader’.
